The Paleo diet comes from the theory that our bodies are genetically programmed to eat like our pre-agricultural, hunter-gatherer ancestors. Humans have been on earth for 200,000 years. We are only farming crops for the last 10,000 years and we are only eating processed foods and including highly processed sugars in our diet for the last 100 years. We simply are not designed to ingest the modern rubbish that is almost forced upon us.
It limits whole grains and starchy vegetables and encourages increasing the amount of “healthy fats” in your diet, including omega-3 fatty acids.

- Grass-produced meats
- Fresh fruits and veggies
- Nuts and seeds
- Healthful oils (Olive, walnut, flaxseed, macadamia, avocado, coconut)
Do not cook with cheap oils or vegetable oils. Change to high quality rapeseed oil or coconut oil.
Get organic where possible, food and cooking oils. High quality rapeseed and olive oil.
